SaasyCloud™.com is an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) located in Alberta and Saskatchewan. We develop Mobile and Desktop based software solutions for many industries, including the Livestock Industry.

Over the last 9 years, we have been the IT Vendor for Livestock Services of Saskatchewan (LSS), which puts us in a unique position to understand the needs and challenges of the Canadian Livestock Industry.

MyLivestock is a tool for the Livestock Industry, created by input from all of the industry's stakeholders, and we want to hear from you!

Did you know that current Federal Humane Transport Records (HTR) regulations are in full effect today? This applies to all transporters of livestock within Canada.

HTR requires the entry of 37 different data elements for every livestock movement. By entering trailer / conveyance and other common information in your profile, this information can be pre-populated for every livestock movement, saving valuable time and effort.

Although many don't realize it, new Federal regulations are coming for livestock Identification and Traceability in Canada:

The MyLivestock digital platform provides a Turn-Key, one stop shop for Canadian livestock operators to not only meet the current and upcoming federal regulations, but bridge the gap between Canadian Provincial jurisdictions, in one unified, first of it's kind platform.

For the cost of a couple of cups of coffee per month, MyLivestock makes it easy to meet the current challenges of regulatory demands on the industry. Additional, non-regulatory features, such as full herd management will come online in subsequent phases.

MyLivestock provides the livestock industry with the tools to meet industry needs, including regulations. But, the platform is meant to provide an easy to use tool, and does not police or enforce reporting - that's up to you to opt in or not!

Individual accounts

Intended for producers, individual accounts get a single user account for their livestock operation.

Example: Report livestock movements on behalf of "John Smith".

Organization accounts

Intended for large producers, corporations, dealers, feedlots or abattoirs, organization accounts get multiple user accounts to manage their operation.

When registering as an organization you choose a short unique organization code. This is used to group all of your users and data under a single organization.

Organizations have access to full user management features such as creating users, assigning roles, and managing organization information.

Example: Multiple users can report livestock movements on behalf of "JS Livestock Inc."

Which type of account should I choose?

If you answer yes to any of the following questions, we recommend registering as an organization.

  • Do you operate under a business name?
  • Will you need to create user accounts for other family members or employees, now or in the future?
  • Will you have more than 100 livestock movements in a year?
  • Is your livestock operation incorporated?

MyLivestock will notify you via email one month prior to the expiration of your trial subscription. If you do not purchase a subscription plan, your subscription will be updated based on whether you are registered as an Individual or an Organization/Business, and you will receive another email notification.

You can always upgrade your plan from the Subscription page under the Administration menu to gain access to more features within MyLivestock.

Individual accounts

Individual accounts will be updated to the Basic plan, which is free and allows for 5 movements per year. Please see the pricing page for the available features under the Basic plan. Note that some features are based on your linked accounts, not your subscription, and can still be accessed regardless of your subscription. These include My CCIA Tags and My Brands.

Organization accounts

When the trial subscription expires for your organization, your organization will no longer have a valid subscription within MyLivestock. A subscription plan can be purchased from the Subscription page under the Administration menu. Note that some features are based on your linked accounts, not your subscription, and can still be accessed without a subscription. These include My CCIA Tags and My Brands.

Linking your CCIA account to your MyLivestock account authorizes us (SaasyCloud), to submit your movements directly to CLTS on behalf of you or your organization.

Linking your account does not mean that all your movements will be reported to CCIA. Current regulations do not require movements to be reported so we give you the option to report only if you want to.

Our goal is to make it easy for you to meet regulations, not enforce them.

If the regulations change and it becomes mandatory, MyLivestock will guide you on meeting the requirements.

All movements reported to CLTS via MyLivestock can also be viewed on your account with CLTS.

Linking your PigTRACE account to your MyLivestock account authorizes us (SaasyCloud), to submit your movements directly to PigTRACE on behalf of you or your organization.

Linking your account does not mean that all your movements will be reported to PigTRACE. We give you the option to report only if you want to.

Our goal is to make it easy for you to meet regulations, not enforce them.

Information about PigTRACE and how to register can be found here.
